- Can we have a "what's new" page that links from the home page for like a bulletin board (very temporary-- like we can clear it off each day or every other day) but easy to access (and something we would really use like we are using the User pages for individual conversations) where we can note new changes or whatever that we want people to check out (rather than always looking for those changes on the recent changes page), or just jot notes to the general reader that are not things to permanently add to the site? Do you know what I mean?
 I do, I do! That’s kind of what I had in mind for the Hot Topics page to be, but I let it get a little out of control. Take a look at it now. You can help me keep an eye on it and delete stuff as it gets old.

Some things we’ve already thought of
- Add a bulletin board for threaded discussions. DONE! Check it out.
- Put all the birthdays on the calendar. (I think I have them all there now, but someone should double-check, then delete this entry. —Ed)
- Get everyone to check their own entries in the Address Book.
- Anne mentioned online chat. Do we want to bother with a chat function on the site, or maybe just use AIM or Yahoo IM and post a schedule of family chats here? —Ed
