Instant Start Guide

Here’s the super-fast-track guide to getting started as a Gumnickopedia author.

1. If you haven’t already done so, request a login ID.
2. Log in to Gumnickopedia with the user name and password you’ve been given.
3. In the address bar of your web browser, copy and paste this line, changing the red part to the title you want to give your new page:

   http://www.gumnick.com/wiki/index.php/New Page Title

   As so soon as you hit the return key, you’ll get a message saying

   There is currently no text in this page, you can </nowiki>search for this page title in other pages or edit this page.

   Click on the link to edit the page, and start putting in your text.
4. When you have your text in place, hit the button.
5. Create links to your new page by putting this code into the other pages from which you want to link:

   [[New Page Title]]
