[edit] Edward Lear“Edward Lear (May 12, 1812–January 29, 1888) was an artist, illustrator, and writer known for his nonsensical poetry and his limericks, a form which he popularized.”[1] He was the inventor of more nonsense words than Mom, if you can imagine that. [edit] Source
[edit] Shelba Jo Simpsona.k.a. “Jo” Jo was a co-worker of Ed’s at his second job-from-hell when he first moved back to Houston in the late ’80s, and she became the first tenant in his garage apartment. She moved out a few years later, but they continued to work and play together over the years, and then she moved back into his garage apartment in the summer of 2004. (It’s not even that nice an apartment.)She was also one of the first two employees of Starfall Graphics, Ed and Mark’s graphic-design business. Jo has many Gumnick qualities: she’s smart, funny, loud, a know-it-all, a great cook, and would probably insist on uploading pictures of her non-human children here if we let her. |
