Mom and Dad’s memories of childhood and their relationship
From Gumnickopedia
Mom used to get cigarettes for Granddad at the market down the corner when she was little. Can you imagine?
Mom also used to roll the mercury around in her hand at the dentist's office....
(Crazy, the stuff that went on back when dinosaurs ruled the earth.)
Ask Dad about his experiences with bullies....
Mom mentioned to me the other day about how Unc used to put her on the "poop list" when she was a little kid and did something rotten or naughty, and it devastated her. She would beg him, "no... don't put me on the poop list...." She hated it and just felt like she had been condemned when he said it. Of course she laughs about it now.
Mom and Dad speak fondly of when they were first dating and they would go out for lobster or crab on Friday nights (big sacrifice, you Catholic types!).
