Our Childhood Memories of Mom and Dad

Mom was always quite the singer, and I have fond memories of being sung to sleep to “Stay Awake” from Mary Poppins or “Daisy, Daisy”.... I can't remember what other songs she sang (anybody else remember?). Dad was also QUITE a singer, but his songs were more along the lines of “Kookabura Sits in the Old Gum Tree” and “I Wish I Was an Apple on a Tree.”  

I also remember having an autograph book as a little girl and one of my autographs was from Mom and she wrote, "You are the apple of my eye." That was huge and wonderful to me.
