[edit] 10/3/06—update on the MP3 question Joan, you can now upload MP3 files using the regular Upload File page. There’s a size limit, though, and I haven’t figured out exactly what it is (or how to hack it). All I know so far is that a 6 MB file was too much, but a 976 KB file worked. After you upload the file, here’s how you code the page you want to put it on: <mp3>Do_not_go_gentle.mp3</mp3> which gives you this: Note: As usual, the Wiki file upload will capitalize the first letter of the file name, so be sure to cap it in the code even if the original file name wasn’t capitalized. Also, we have to be careful not to post any copyrighted material, so don’t put up an MP3 unless you know that: You created it yourself, like a voice recording, You had permission to record it (not usually the case at concerts and such), or The copyright owner gave permission to distribute it freely.
