I’ve turned it into a template for you.
Mez—All you have to do is paste (or type) this at the end of anything that you want to “tag” as yours:
{{MezSig}}
If you hover over it, it says “By Mez,” and if you click on it, it goes to User_talk:Mez, which is where people should leave you notes.

…you can also do it the way Anne said, by just pasting the name of the graphic wherever you want the snake, like this:

but then it won’t be a link to anywhere except the page about that particular image. Compare clicking on these two:
